The Pullman State Historic Site preserves surviving portions of the world-renowned 140-year-old Pullman Car works railroad car-building complex and the Hotel Florence. The Pullman Car Works was the center of American railroad car construction, including the famed Pullman sleeping cars. The Car Works also was a center of industrial innovation and American labor history. Future exhibits will include Robert Todd Lincoln’s 1911 railroad car "The Advance."
